NNPC GMD flags off NOG 2015

The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Dr. Joseph T. Dawha has flagged off the Nigerian Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition, 2015 edition. Dr. Dawha while flagging off the Conference at the International Conference Centre in Abuja said the NOG is now a flagship event for the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry.
The GMD noted that the NOG provides a veritable Platform where policy makers and Industry
leaders meet to discuss policy direction and strategy. He stated that the exhibition segment of the NOG has also grown from strength to strength beginning with only a handful of exhibitors to over 200 Local and International exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies as well as developments in the Industry.
High point of the opening ceremony was a tour of some of the booths of the exhibitors by the NNPC GMD. The NOG began in the year 2000 as an add-on to a West Africa event in London and moved to Abuja in 2004, 2015 marks the 15th edition of the International event. The theme of this year‘s “NOG is the Journey Towards Transformation.”
