Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Hajiya Aishatu Buhari, made a generous donation to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) when she visited Damare and St Theresa Catholic Church camps in Adamawa State

The spouse of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate February 11 distributed drugs and other relief materials worth N135million to those affected by Boko Haram insurgency.
According to Leadership, Mrs Buhari expressed sympathy saying that “we cannot pretend not to see the situation you people are into”.
She lamented over their state putting a blame on the current administration incapable of handling the
country’s problems. Buhari’s wife added:

“I am not here for politics nor for religion but because we’re really touched by the condition you found yourselves; we are here to share your grief.”
 
However, she urged Nigerians to make the right choice comes the elections date.
“It’s unfortunate, that Nigerians are being turned to refugees in their country, Nigerians are in dire need of change.
“While we commiserate with you over the most unfortunate incident that be fall you which also brought you here, I want to also stress the need for Nigerians to consider candidates of integrity, devoid of sentiments.
“It’s our fervent prayers that the problems will be over, for peace and normalcy to return in the land, lets join hand to rebuild Nigeria that put in disarray.”
